Wonderful friendly hotel in a fantastic location. Can recommend using the Spa Facilities and the views from the hotel (when the cloud lifts) are just stunning.

This hotel is ok - I suspect it's better to stay there in the summer - the dining room has a nice view of the surrounding country side. Our room was one of the standard ones located in the basement - felt a bit like being in a submarine - we were only there for one night so it was bearable but for a longer stay I would recommend one of the better rooms. The staff were helpful - the girl behind the reception was a bit OTT but the waiter was good and pleasant.

Hotel was very isolated - I suppose in good weather when its buzy it feels a bit more alive. When we there (end of September) it felt a bit too quiet and lonely for my liking. Got the feeling they were just about to shut-up shop for the season. I guess I was a bit disappointed with the hotel - it looks better on the web than it does in real life.

Food was superb! Also the service - Nicoletta at front desk, Peter & Anna restaurant. Our room (suite) was large and well set up with everything we needed. The infrastructure of the spa is best in class with many features that was a delightful surprise. We are going back next year,

Gym equipment did not work - a big pity given the gym set up (airy room with view over domein) and all the rest of the hotel.
